Creating moments that bring people together, sparking joy, and making someone’s day feel special through programs, conversation, music, games or creative activities—Jacob loves finding ways to make people feel seen, included, and connected.

He’s spent over a decade creating meaningful experiences for families and guests in hospitality and entertainment. “I realized that what I loved most wasn’t the events, it was the people and moments of connection,” says Jacob.

Now as Life Enrichment Director at Edgeworth Park, Jacob continues to use his creative talents and experience in exciting ways. “Solera Senior Living’s focus on meaningful engagement, creativity, and compassion immediately resonated with me,” he says, “In senior living, creativity isn’t just about entertainment; it’s about engagement, dignity, and quality of life, which I deeply value.”

In his spare time, Jacob enjoys crafting, cooking, music, dancing, and spending time with his partner. A big fan of horror movies, he loves the Scream franchise and the Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV series. Jacob studied American Sign Language Interpreting at Tidewater Community College.

Perfect vacation? “A mix of cozy and exciting,” says Jacob. He loves scenic, relaxing places, but is just as happy being in a big city like New York City or Los Angeles. “People-watching, trying great food, and taking in everything the city has to offer. I think the most important detail is having the right people with you along the journey.”
