LeeNae Ackes, Director of Memory Care at Edgeworth Park, has known her calling since childhood. At five years old, her grandmother — a nursing facility worker — brought her along to teach her the importance of respecting and honoring those who can no longer care for themselves.

"Helping others in need was her passion," LeeNae shares, "and it soon became mine." Now with 22 years of experience in senior living, she brings that same devotion to her role every day, ensuring residents feel safe, healthy, and truly at home. A Dementia Care Certified professional, LeeNae believes compassion is the foundation of quality care — meeting each person where they are and understanding their unique needs.

Outside of work, she loves singing, baking, and celebrating life, and her favorite way to recharge is spending time with her six children.
